On December 15, 1791, the United States Congress ratified in the US Bill of Rights, the Second Amendment (Article II) to the United States Constitution;

that protects and provides American Citizens the right to keep and bear arms.

“A WELL REGULATED MILITIA, BEING NECESSARY TO THE SECURITY OF A FREE STATE,
THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.”
