Sean Hannity

Sean Hannity is an American Conservative Christian, Multi-Media Host and Commentator, Best-Selling Author, and Motivational Speaker. Sean Patrick Hannity was born on December 30, 1961 in New York City, New York and raised by his loving parents Lillian and Hugh Hannity. Sean Hannity is of Irish descent, and his grandparents immigrated from Ireland to the United States many years ago. He attended St. Pius X Preparatory Seminary in Uniondale, N.Y.; New York University and Adelphi University; and was awarded an honorary degree from Liberty University. Sean has always had a stellar work ethic, which he learned from his parents who set a wonderful example. Sean began working at a very early age as a paper boy, delivering issues of the Long Island Daily Press and New York Daily News.

Over the years Sean continued to strive for excellence and growth, as he began working as a General Contractor, and in 1989, he received his first introduction into broadcasting, by volunteering as a radio talk show host at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His talk show host experience expanded as he worked for WVNN in Athens, Alabama, and WGST in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1997, Sean was also hired as a radio talk show host for WABC in New York where he worked until 2013. In 2001, The Sean Hannity Radio Show became nationally syndicated to over 500 radio stations nationwide, and in 2004, Sean signed with ABC Radio to continue his show until 2009. In 2014, Sean left WABC and moved to WOR radio station in New York, broadcasting to over 13 million listeners. The highly successful Sean Hannity Radio show is now syndicated across the Nation by Premiere Networks, which is a subsidiary of iHeartMedia.

In 1996, Sean began his Television career on Fox News, as co-host of the Hannity & Colmes program, which presented both a Conservative (Sean Hannity) and liberal (Alan Colmes) prospective, successfully airing for 13 years until Alan Colmes’ departure in January of 2009. The show then became branded as ‘Hannity’ in 2009 and has remained one of the most successful programs on the Fox News line-up, becoming number one in its time slot for all of cable news broadcasting.

Sean Hannity remains one of the most watched and listened to, Television and Radio talk show hosts in history, and continues hosting The Sean Hannity Show, a nationally syndicated talk radio show, and his Television program, ‘Hannity’ on Fox News. Sean has also had cameo appearances in film and television, including the 2017 Film: ‘Let There Be Light’ with Kevin Sorbo, as well as serving as Executive Producer. Sean has received several awards and honors over the years such as: The Marconi Award in 2003 and 2007, as the Network Syndicated Personality of the Year from the National Association of Broadcasters, The Freedom of Speech Award by Talkers Magazine, Induction into the National Radio Hall of Fame and awarded an Honorary Degree from Liberty University. His charitable work includes hosting the ‘Freedom Concerts’ for seven consecutive years, to raise money for Charity.
